The 750 Motor Club have announced that they will be running a new Renault Clio series in 2013.

The series will begin this year and will cater for the Renault Clio Sport 182. The cars will run on control Yokohama AD08 tyres as well as Gaz suspension and a control ECU. The club expect that cars will cost £5,000 to build, Matt Fincham was displaying a car that he will race on behalf of the club at the Autosport Show.

The Clio's will run with the Stock Hatch Championship in 2013 while they build a grid ready for stand-alone races in 2014 which it is hoped to be run as a championship. The Clio's will not be eligible to score points within the Stock Hatch Champion, which Joe Ferguson won last year.

At the Autosport Show, the 750 Motor Club also re-launched their single-seater category which was formerly known as Formula 4 but shall now be known as 750GP. The series will now allow for a wider variety of open wheel racing cars with an engine capacity up to two-litre.
