Mervyn Beckett is the latest driver to commit to the 750 Motor Club Classic Stock Hatch series.

Twenty-three year old Beckett who has a background of short track oval racing expects to be doing a full season of Classic Hatch in the ex-Championship winning Vauxhall Nova which was raced by Damian Cottrell and Pip Hammond in the past. "I'm in Damian's Nova it's staying red but having full respray."

Beckett will be racing in his first year of track racing in 2013. He hopes to be up near the front in his learning year. He said "My aim is to go for novice championship, I just hope the car is up for it." Beckett has almost finished working on the car, he is just looking for a transponder now. "I'm trying to find transponder, if you hear of any can you let me know as eBay are asking too much at moment." Please contact Mervyn if you are or know anybody who is selling one.
