Gaz Bayton to make racing debut

Gaz Bayton has confirmed that he will make his racing debut this season in the 750 Motor Club run Stock Hatch Championship.

Bayton, from Chesterfield, has acquired the Andrew Tibbs car Citroen Saxo. Tibbs finished eighth in the championship last season with the car and scored a best result of second at Brands Hatch.

The 38-year-old said "I've always been into cars from a young lad and I've always to wanted to do this and now I've found the opportunity to get in to Motorsport." He will make his debut at the second meeting of the Stock Hatch season which takes place at Snetterton on the 26th of May with qualifying and two races on the Bank Holiday Monday after only a couple of trackday's experience.
