Double Toyota MR2 Champion team Rising Sun Racing have announced their 2013 driver line-up.

The 2012 MR2 Champion Paul Hinson will move up into the BMW Compact Cup, therefore continuing to race in the 750 Motor Club package. The team are building Hinson a car which should challenge for the title the MR2 Champion at the wheel. The series starts at Donington Park on the 23rd March with every round on Motors TV.

Ex-Formula 3 racer from the eighties Paul Hutson will once again contest the Toyota MR2 Championship as well as competing in selected rounds of the Nippon Challenge. Hutson will be joined by newcomer Kris White in the MR2 Championship as well as Paul Grimmett. Essex-racer Grimmett will continue to run his own car but RSR will oversee the operations as well developing his car.

Stunt driver John Wilson will also be racing with RSR's help. The team will helping Wilson out with his engine requirements in both his standard Toyota MR2 which he will race in the MR2 Championship. He will also compete in the new Roadsports series in his modified MR2 which has a 'very special custom' engine. Wilson appeared on Top Gear recently competing in the 'Car Rugby'.

Paul Presgraves has also teamed up with RSR this season as the team will help Presgraves with building his Formula Ford Zetec engine for his Van Dieman which we expect to see in the 750 SSC series which is the re-named Formula 4 series.
